Martin's Nest offers stylish, comfortable studio accommodation for two people. There is a tiled wet room and separate kitchen which is well equipped with electric hob/oven and microwave. It's gingham curtains and decor have a nostalgic charm while still providing all the requirements of modern living. Washing and ironing facilities are available in the adjacent shared laundry room.
The living/sleeping area has been cleverly arranged and the king size bed is screened. There is an additional sofa bed, books and board games, as well as Freeview TV/ DVD player. A table for two is provided to create a dining area for meals overlooking the garden. French doors lead outside to seating under an ivy clad pergola with lovely views across the garden and surrounding fields.
The property opens onto a large garden with its own table and chairs. Martin’s Nest is one of three properties which make up Big Sky Cottages, and is situated in the same grounds as The White House and Ladybird which can be hired together for larger groups up to 13. Martin’s Nest welcomes one dog free of charge. The garden is fully enclosed. The owner lives on site and is available to answer any queries throughout your stay.
Big Sky Cottages are an easy 10 minute walk from Winterton with safe and quiet footpaths to lead you to and from the village and beach. Winterton holds a host of amenities including local shop, post office and pub. There are lots of walks straight from the doorstep - ideal for walking, cycling or running. The area is great for bird watching and seal spotting too. The property also makes a great base for exploring Norfolk and the nearby Norfolk Broads.
